Parker Grant is an average high school student, and she doesn't need her vision to see what the other person is up to. This story is not about blindness. It is about a girl who is blind. To survive in this world, Parker has some rules like 

Rule #1: Don't deceive her, especially using her blindness, especially in public

Rule #2: Don't touch her without asking or warning her, she can't see it coming, and she will always be surprised and will probably hurt you.

When Scott Kilpatrick (the guy who broke her trust) returns to her life, she tried her best to ignore him. Also, she has a lot of things going on her mind like how to be a member of the track team, and also, to cope up with her father's death. This book is all about hope, loss, grief, acceptance, love and growing up.

Review: 

I find it very difficult to review this book. On one side I liked the concept, and on another hand, I saw so many problems. 

What I liked about the book is apparently the protagonist- Parker and the fact that the novel is told from the perspective of a blind person. The writing style is marvelous, and the best thing about the book is that the characters description are not according to their physical appearance. Also, not to forget that Parker is an athlete, yes! Her eyes don't work, but her legs do. The character development of Parker is fun to read. She is bold,  intelligent and witty. This book takes you on the journey of how she discovers herself, accept her flaws, and in the end, she's still herself. Also, it tells you, what happens when you make a terrible judgment about someone/something and then confounded in the end. 

What I disliked about the book while the protagonist is a badass character, but she has an abrasive and arrogant personal style. Everyone was at fault according to Parker. The romance part of this book was unnecessary, and I understand why Parker took some (bad) decisions. But I was displeased and frustrated. Also, the story has no spark and a bit bland and the ending was not justified. 

Though I have mixed views about this novel, I did enjoy it. It was fun and easy read. And I felt it was a well-structured story of a blind girl and how she deals with her problems in her unique way.

PERCY JACKSON & THE LIGHTNING THEIF

Arrrghhhh... PERCY JACKSON!!! Okay. I've had this book since a really long time, but never read it because? I seriously can't remember the reason anymore. I cannot believe I've waited this looooong to get to this book, because this book is everything! So to start, the best thing I like about this series is that it's set in the 21st century, so it's relatable (well not in a demigod-ish camp-halfblood way). The character development is amazing, and so is the friendship development. Also the way this story just molds with Greek Mythology and has so much greek elements to it is just so fascinating. All those Greek Gods and stuff! This book is about a boy named Percy Jackson who has special needs. He is dyslexic and has ADHD (but there's a reason for that).
